WrestleMania 41 Returns to Las Vegas in 2025
WrestleMania 41 is set to take place on April 19 and 20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, marking the event's return to the city after 32 years. This two-day spectacle is expected to draw fans from around the globe, offering a series of high-profile matches and a range of fan-centric activities.
The main event features a Triple Threat Match between Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins. Other notable bouts include Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed Championship against John Cena, Gunther facing Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship, and a Women's Championship match with Iyo Sky, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley. Additional matches will determine the Tag Team, Intercontinental, and United States Championships. In the United States, WrestleMania 41 will be available exclusively on Peacock, while international audiences can stream the event on Netflix.
Beyond the matches, WWE has expanded WrestleMania into a multi-day event. Festivities include meet-and-greets with wrestlers, a WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, television tapings for "SmackDown," "Raw," and "NXT," and a special "Roast of WrestleMania" hosted by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe. This approach mirrors the NFL's strategy for the Super Bowl, transforming WrestleMania into a mainstream cultural event.
Historically, WrestleMania has significantly benefited host cities. For instance, WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles generated $215 million in economic impact, while WrestleMania 35 in New York/New Jersey contributed $165.4 million. These figures encompass spending on accommodations, dining, and local attractions, highlighting the event's substantial economic influence.
Since its inception in 1985, WrestleMania has evolved from a single-night event to a two-day format starting in 2020. The 2024 edition in Philadelphia was both a financial and critical success, marking the first WrestleMania without Vince McMahon's presence following his resignation amid legal issues.
Leading up to WrestleMania 41, the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will honor Paul "Triple H" Levesque, Michelle McCool, Lex Luger, and The Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon). The ceremony is scheduled for April 18, 2025, at Fontainebleau Las Vegas and will be broadcast live on Peacock and WWE’s social channels.
From April 17 to April 21, 2025, WWE and Fanatics Events will host WWE World at the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall. This five-day interactive fan experience includes roundtable discussions with WWE Superstars, live podcast recordings, live memorabilia and autograph sales, and the largest WWE Superstore in WrestleMania history.
WrestleMania 41's return to Las Vegas signifies more than just a series of wrestling matches; it embodies WWE's evolution into a multi-day cultural phenomenon. The event is expected to draw massive crowds, generate substantial economic impact, and solidify professional wrestling's place in mainstream entertainment.
