Visa Unveils Global Art Collection for FIFA World Cup 2026

Visa has unveiled its inaugural global art collection to celebrate the cultural vibrancy of the upcoming FIFA World Cup 26™. This initiative features over twenty artists from six continents, each contributing works that reflect their unique interpretations of football traditions and the cultural energy of their respective regions.

The first five pieces of the collection were showcased at an exclusive Miami event titled "The Art of the Draw," hosted by multidisciplinary creator KidSuper. The event featured artworks by Darien Birks, Nathan Walker, Cesar Canseco, Ivan Roque, and Rafael Mayani, each celebrating the culture and traditions of the host countries and the host city, Miami. The full collection is set to be revealed globally ahead of the tournament.

In collaboration with JOOPITER, a digital-first content and commerce platform founded by Pharrell Williams, Visa aims to elevate the artists behind the collection. This partnership seeks to provide these creators with a platform to showcase their work to new audiences, connecting their artistic expressions with fans worldwide throughout the FIFA World Cup 26™.

Frank Cooper III, Chief Marketing Officer of Visa, emphasized the significance of this initiative, stating, "We are giving artists the opportunity to express themselves on a global stage through the FIFA Men’s World Cup 26™. Artists help make the invisible seen, provoke new ways of thinking, and unify us through the artifacts they create."

This initiative not only celebrates the unifying spirit of football but also empowers creative entrepreneurs by amplifying their voices and providing pathways to growth. Each piece in the collection transforms lived experiences into bold visual narratives, reaching millions during the world's largest sporting event.

Visa's collaboration with JOOPITER underscores a shared commitment to uplifting creators and providing them with opportunities to showcase their work to broader audiences. By commissioning artists from diverse backgrounds, Visa highlights the role of creativity in commerce and its impact on shaping global culture.

The FIFA World Cup 26™ is scheduled to be the largest tournament in history, featuring 48 nations competing across 16 host cities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Visa has extended its global partnership with FIFA through 2026, aiming to enhance the fan experience and support the growth of football worldwide.

This comprehensive initiative by Visa not only celebrates the global passion for football but also underscores the company's commitment to supporting creative entrepreneurs and integrating cultural expression into the commercial landscape.
