Apple said its newest flagship devices became available in Apple Store locations worldwide on Friday, capping a rollout that began with product announcements on Sept. 9 and preorders last week. The lineup now arriving in stores includes the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5.

For U.S. buyers, Apple set the iPhone 18 Pro at $1,199 for the 256GB base model and the iPhone 18 Pro Max at $1,299. The Apple Watch Series 12 starts at $399, the Apple Watch Ultra 4 at $799, and AirPods 5 at $129, or $149 with a Wireless Charging Case. Apple announced the products Sept. 9, and said iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max preorders opened Sept. 12 at 5 a.m. PT; the new watches and AirPods were also available to preorder ahead of Friday’s in-store launch.

Apple is pitching multiple ways to buy on launch day, including store pickup, home delivery, in-store demos and Personal Setup, the company’s onboarding help for new devices. The company is also offering Apple Trade In, Apple Upgrade leasing through Klarna, Apple Card Monthly Installments and carrier promotions. Apple said customers can get up to $1,200 in credit with select carriers when trading in an iPhone 14 or later, in any condition, toward an iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro Max.

Early supply appears mixed, especially for shoppers who want a specific color, storage tier or carrier version. Independent reports from outlets including MacRumors and Tom’s Guide said some configurations slipped to later shipping windows after preorders opened, although store pickup was still available for some models depending on configuration and location. For buyers hoping to get a device today, that means checking local inventory may be faster than relying on home delivery estimates.

Apple is keeping the launch focused on a handful of headline upgrades. The company says the iPhone 18 Pro lineup includes the A20 Pro chip, a 48-megapixel Fusion Main camera with variable aperture, a redesigned Dynamic Island and major battery-life gains across the line. Apple says the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 add a Health Sensing System and S11 chip, including higher-frequency heart-rate and heart-rate variability sensing and a “readiness” score. For AirPods 5, Apple says the new earbuds bring open-ear active noise cancellation and can remove up to 50% more external noise than AirPods 4 with ANC.

The store debut also gives Apple a visible retail moment for its first major September hardware launch under new CEO John Ternus, who took over Sept. 1 with Tim Cook moving to executive chair. Apple said Ternus, retail chief Deirdre O’Brien and marketing executive Greg Joswiak joined store staff at Apple Fifth Avenue in New York to welcome customers on launch day.

For consumers, the key takeaway is straightforward: Apple’s newest premium iPhone, watch and earbuds are now on shelves, but the easiest way to get exactly the model you want may depend on local pickup availability, trade-in value and carrier offers as early inventory shifts.
